Treasury Division
Treasury focuses on the Bank’s strategic balance sheet liquidity management and risk management (including risks related to asset and liability gap, maturity mismatches and foreign exchange) requirements. Treasury arranges the financing of the Bank’s expenditure requirements (other than by way of customer deposits) through a variety of different instruments, including bi-lateral and syndicated loans (both senior and subordinated) and debt capital markets issuances.
In addition to managing the Bank's own treasury-related needs, the Bank’s Treasury provides a range of treasury services to its clients, primarily to corporate customers and certain high net worth individuals. Treasury intends to remain active in the markets and provide treasury products to the Bank’s customers, including debt capital markets activities, brokerage and dealer services, securities trading, and ancillary services such as custodian services.
Capital Markets Division
The Bank’s corporate bond arrangement and underwriting services were launched in 2002. These services include underwriting, drafting of investment and offering circulars, presentations to investors, securities’ registration with state authorities, listing of securities, stabilization and paying agency services. The Bank has arranged 46 domestic bond issues with a total value of UAH 3.8 billion, including the issuance of ten domestic bonds by the Bank with a total value of UAH 1.6 billion. In particular, during the period from 2002 to 2008 the Bank placed domestic bond issues for leading Ukrainian companies and municipalities.
As part of its client function, the Capital Markets Division offers brokerage and dealer services, securities trading, and ancillary services such as custodian services.
The Bank’s current licenses, which authorise it to engage in professional brokerage, underwriting, dealer and custodian services, were issued by the SSMC and are valid through 12 October 2012.
